     The only way to get them to change their behaviour is to provide them with another way to make a living. Many don’t have any useful professional skills and are not willing to become homeless in this cold weather.

   Rhetoric seldom contributes anything substantiative to any discussion. However since many people don’t seem to understand that “weather” and “climate” are different (and why) or that “global” is not necessarily “local”; rhetoric contributes lots of confusion, screaming, and name calling, it creates great fun. And, since no one can do anything anyway, we may as well have fun at it.

     And your rhetoric is a great example. I like it Mike, while your little absurd statement didn’t use any pejoratives, you just as well have. The thing I like about alarmists is their ability to hold onto beliefs that have been debunked years ago and their tenacious propensity to defend the same absurd assertions.

     Here’s some more fun.

     “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.”

     Nothing is illustrated better than by the preposterous warmcold assertions and the defense of policies which will claim many lives in this recent weather event in the U.S. and defense of similar absurdities.

   Well, the rhetoric could cool off a bit if journalists quit repeating known lies. Someone please tell them to stop with the consensus bs. There isn’t one. There isn’t even a consensus of what’s important among the true believers. Personally, I don’t care what the idiot Trenberth has to say. This moron embraces a theory that excess heat should be found in particular places within the earth’s atmosphere. When he can’t find the heat, he doesn’t question the validity his theory, no, this “scientist” simply uses the word “travesty” to bemoan the fact that his beliefs aren’t able to be validated. Idiot. Off to shovel some more drywet and see if I can’t get to town………
