   I tell my kid that if he starts crying to me about climate change, saving energy, etc… that I’ll start by throwing his PS3, Wii, and the computer (loves his facebook) in the dumpster in order to “save the environment.”

   Gore popped up last Friday in Aspen Colorado and said the following about skeptic scientists, (as quoted by the reporter here http://www.postindependent.com/article/20110219/VALLEYNEWS/110219868/1083&ParentProfile=1074 ): “Their objective…was to transform global warming into a theory rather than a fact”. Gore’s statement only reinforces what I call the ’96-to-present smear of skeptic scientists, since it is an unsupported accusation made famous by anti-skeptic book author Ross Gelbspan in 1996.

   If that phrase, correctly worded as “reposition global warming as theory rather than fact” in Gore’s movie right before the 1 hour 13 minute point, hadn’t been used to insinuate a conspiracy between big coal / oil executives and skeptic scientists (supposedly identical to tobacco industry efforts years ago), the public and the mainstream media would have viewed skeptic scientists as whistleblowers on the IPCC and Al Gore in the mid ’90s. Thus, we’d probably not even be discussing global warming today.

   I wonder how Alec Loorz would react to this…..

   What would I think of 1 million children marching? I would think they are children that have been poorly guided in life. Parents have delegated parenting responsibilities to the tv, and the movie theatre. Mommie and daddy are entertainment screens. Lazy generation of parents. The Hitler youth woke up to the foolishnish of Nazism. One day these children will wake up to the foolishness of global warming.
