We have had the best XC skiing in 30 years with daily temperatures in the high teens and twenties for almost two months. It would be interesting to determine why we are seeing these consistent low temperatures. Fortunately Al Gore has provided the answer. He released a press release yesterday that attributed the low temperatures to global warming. There is certainly irrefutable evidence to support this theory. The classic “Hockey Stick” curve explains clearly the correlation of industrial activity with recent very high temperatures. There is one small problem with this graph. That is the fact that they conveniently left out data in the middle ages that showed very high temperatures as well. Another problem has to do with sun spots. They have found that the recent higher temperature correlate perfectly with the sun spot activity. Also the temperatures on mars seem to correlate as well. So how is it that people in this country are so gullible to believe these bogus global warming ideas? The fact that our knowledge of science as a country is rated at the bottom of the civilized world may have something to do with this.
So Al Gore has been able to ride this theory all the way to the bank as he has become a multimillionaire with several big mansions, jets, and expensive cars. In a fair logical world Al with be in jail.
An even bigger advocate of the fraudulent global warming theory is our great President Obama. He has used this theory to push for cap and trade bills that if passed would destroy our country as the cost of energy would go through the roof. As the cost of gasoline hits five or six dollars a gallon (and the associated high cost of food and heating fuel) the recent riots in the middle east would seem like a 4H picnic. His reason for pushing the global warming is more sinister than money. He is trying to use it to take over the energy industries in our country. With his liberal/socialist/communist background this is exactly what you would expect.
If this was a fair and logical world this president would be impeached since he has done more damage to this country than any person who ever lived.

In England, my local MP (Johnson Jr., Tory) has just written to me explaining why £500/year/person of additional expenditure are necessary to avoid as much as £350/year/person of additional climate-related costs.

I think you are selling American people short. In fact, thank the good lord that a majority of American people saw through the global warming hoax. Otherwise, we would have had cap-and-trade and other socialist control policies in place by now.

Sorry, this issue is becoming a pet peeve for me. The interesting aspect of the global warming/climate change/climate disruption/climate wierding debate is that the average person on the street in the U.S. has not been persuaded by all the fake studies, trusting their own experience instead. On the other hand, educated (brain washed in our universities) people seem to have bought into the hoax.
Global warming was made up so little old grannies would have something to talk about on the bus! Ha!
