  1. Mike Davis says:

You are Definitely Cherry Picking here, you should only show the 30 years that they report from 1979 to 2010 which would show an even more “NEGATIVE” Decline upwards! 😉

  2. Baa Humbug says:

Too many professors, not enough plumbers, electricians, mechanics, truck drivers etc etc.
Just far too too too many fu%#@#g professors.

  3. Jimbo says:

    3 February 2011
“World of two halves! Map shows most of Northern Hemisphere is covered in snow and ice”
That Antarctica, the Arctic, Greenland and the frozen wastes of Siberia are covered in white comes as no surprise. But it is the extent to which the line dips down over the Northern Hemisphere that is so remarkable about the image.

  4. Andy Weiss says:

The “Big Lie” is alive and well. Despite the peer review system, blatant untruths from scientific community find their way into print, with no signs of stopping.

  5. latitude says:

Global warming makes less snow, then now it makes more snow.

    I know that’s been the argument….

….but where they need to be really hammered is their former claim that less snow made it hotter (albedo), and now more snow is also making it hotter

    • Mohatdebos says:

I was going to ask the same question: how is it that snow cover has declined (increased) when global warming causes more (less) snow? I guess the professor must not have read the latest wise words from the Gore(acle).

  6. Jeff K says:

Earth is only 30 years old? Who knew?
