I don’t believe a budget = or > than our GDP is sustainable. Worse, most foreign economists carry the same belief. It doesn’t work like that.
Or to put it another way, the US government owes the equivalent of $2,000 to every man, woman and child on the planet.
Paying that out would pretty much solve world poverty.

When is this debt going to sink the ship? It’s probably no longer a matter of “if”, it’s “when”. Probably too late to save the ship at this late date, no matter who’s President.
And of course we need to have high-speed rail from Tampa to Orlando for 2.5 BILLION dollars, that will never pay fir itself, but it’ll stick the tax payers for the jobs payroll, and maintenance/upkeep of this albatross.
