Oklahoma Shatters Its Cold Record

Ryan Maue pointed out that Nowata, Oklahoma got down to -31F (-35C) last night, beating an 81 year old state record by four degrees.

The Oklahoma Mesonet weather station at Nowata reached minus 31 degrees actual temperature at 7:40 a.m. today. That will be considered for the official state record.

That mark eclipses the previous all-time record low state temperature of  minus 27 degrees, set at at Vinita, Feb. 13, 1905, and Watts, Jan. 18, 1930.

    You know….
When they break a high record by one degree, you hear it everywhere….

4 degrees below the 81 year record, and not a word

  2. Andy Weiss says:

But you know darn well this record was caused by warmcold while the old records were set by coldcold. Don’t you know that there is a huge difference?

97% of climate experts say that the icecaps and sea ice are melting much faster than the climate models indicated. CNN and the Washington Post say so, so it must be so. Who are you? Some paranoid, right wind conspiracy theory nut case?

We are all going to die! The science is settled. How dare you try to confuse the average person by giving them real data from the real world that contradicts what climate experts are saying in hundreds of peer reviewed studies.
