“Phoenix recorded its coldest daytime high in more than 25 years”

Extreme Cold Blasts Arizona
Coldest Weather In Years Hits The Valley

Baby it’s cold outside! Arizona is being hit with extreme cold and it’s only going to get colder. With a daytime high of just 44 degrees, Phoenix recorded its coldest daytime high in more than 25 years and set a daily and monthly record for a cold high temperature.

A rare hard freeze warning (widespread temperatures below 28 degrees) is in effect for the Valley from late tonight into Thursday morning.
CBS 5 chief meteorologist Chris Dunn says tonight’s lows could make it the coldest night in more than 20 years in Phoenix.

I guess Europe and the UK is out of favour for “cold” reports at the moment??

    😉

Finally, a snow cone can survive in Phoenix! Thank you global warming!

    ;O)

Report from Arizona: It is cold here for what it’s worth. Nothing like the real cold of say, cold places but my outside thermometer is now reading 28 deg F and for Tempe, AZ that is cold. I have pushed pillows up against the doors and got my old space heater out of the garage and plugged it in. Not complaining because in comparison to cold places AZ is not one of them and this is nothing compared to real cold…but…for AZ this is cold. Whatever happened to Global Warming? Oh, one last thing; we do have cold snaps here and even if record breaking a bit of a cold snap is nothing out of any ordinary AZ winter.
