Real Scientists “Hansen Trenberth Schmidt” – Fake Scientists “Lindzen Spencer Pielke”

“I would not, however, include names like Lindzen, Spencer, Pielke with the others since their views are way outside the mainstream”

  1. Latitude says:

He’s in Redding….they put something in their water

    • Hal says:

So Redding must actually be located in the Bizarro World (a square planet with deadly Blue Kryptonite), because that seems to be where Hansen, Trenberth, and Schmidt operate from. Oh, and another primary occupant on Bizarro World is the Op-Ed Section of the New York Times.

  2. D. King says:

    Here you go Doug Craig.

Just how stupid do you look now?

  3. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Lindzen is an oil clown….. words fail me.

  4. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Speaking of James Hansen’s appearance before Congress in 1988, let’s see just how scientific it was:

  5. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

He’s consistent with James Hansen? So he’s a radical environmentalist too?

  6. Bob Newhart says:

“it’s ironic that EMS president Arlie Schardt is probably best known for pointing out others’ public hyperbole. As press secretary for Al Gore’s disastrous first presidential campaign in 1988”

    Ouch ….’gored’ again.

  7. Russell C says:

SourceWatch/ExxonSecrets/Desmog/Gelbspan = a central accusation promulgated by Gelbspan beginning back in late 1995, based on a quote from a 1991 era memo that itself is never seen in its complete context in any publication or web site that relies on the quote as ‘smoking gun’ proof that skeptic scientists are corrupt. See “How an Enviro-Advocacy Group Propped Up Global Warming in the MSM” http://bigjournalism.com/rcook/2010/11/02/how-an-enviro-advocacy-group-propped-up-global-warming-in-the-msm-a-nov-2-election-connection/

No doubt our friend Doug Craig is utterly unaware of this, and never thought to check the veracity of Gelbspan’s accusation.

  8. Nobama says:

Is Gavin a legal immigrant? Just wondering. So many people are working here (from Europe) who really aren’t citizens.

Any time I leave comments at RC, I always ask Gavin if he has any NASA work he should be doing.

  9. Charles Higley says:

    Doug Craig “here’s your sign.”

  10. suyts says:

Irony……these 3 guys are way better than those 3 guys.

“Even though we quote the work product of Spencer and Christy, we don’t think they know what they’re talking about” . See UAH. “Even though Lindzen disassembles us every time we speak, we don’t believe him.”

For any novice to this climate discussion that may be lurking, look for Lindzen. He’s spot on. I usually have a point or two to disagree with most scientists including skeptical ones…….I can’t think of one of Lindzen’s that I could.

For those that don’t know, Spencer and Christy run the University of Alabama/Huntsville satellite temp data center. There are only two world renown centers as such. UAH and RSS. The alarmists quote UAH more than RSS…….now. But they’ll bash the ones they quote because the ones they quote don’t believe the anthropological side of AGW. Both. The ones they quote. Whose data is beyond question……… Uhmm……K. Almost makes sense to me.

    • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Spencer and Christy also haven’t been arrested at coal protests. I’m just sayin……

    • Mike Davis says:

Actually Spencer and Christy do believe the A in AGW. They do not believe it is
      Catastrophic!
Both Pielkes believe in AGW but SR thinks Land Use Land Change is a greater problem and JR thinks adaption is the best path to take as there is no observable trend that can be attributed to AGW. That makes mitigation a waste of money.

  11. Dave G says:

They just can’t stop digging that hole LOL, I need more popcorn

  12. Anybody calling Pielke Jr a “contrarian” is obviously (seriously misinformed and) on the wrong side of fascism

  13. Poptech says:

I profiled most of these “clown” scientists and you can find all their “fake” credentials here,
