  1. Ralph says:

OMG! Never in the history of the world has blizzards, floods, and droughts EVER happened! WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE! Sorry I had to..

  2. Andy Weiss says:

All these events pale in comparison to the Dust Bowl era droughts during the 1930’s which caused almost total crop failures in some of the prime grain producing areas of the United States. Bad weather causing bad crops is nothing new.

  3. suyts says:

This is insidious. Food prices didn’t jump because of weather. Food prices jumped because the worlds largest producer of corn has decided to use over 40% of its corn production for ethanol. U.S. 40% is approx 20% world supply.

  4. Latitude says:

Weather? the weather made them do it???

    The world economy did it……

….but then that places the blame on the world leaders, like Obama, and we can’t have that

  5. Justa Joe says:

We all know that floods and droughts are a new phenomenon. They in no way pre-date biblical times, and Turmoil in the middle east must be due to CAGW because my entire life it has always been so peaceful and calm there.

  6. PhilJourdan says:

The year did not see any more natural disasters than normal. But by continuously playing up the meme that there were, people will believe it absent the truth. That is why there are so many stories about it. Not to document the truth, but to ingrain the lie.

  7. Vince says:

Blah, blah, blah. Yet another person suffering a bout of alarmist influenza and vomiting forth the same old tired propaganda. The best treatment for such cases is the truth, but it is doubtful that the die-hard alarmists will ever take that particular vaccine.
