Two Feet Of Global Warming In Connecticut

I’m in western Connecticut now and the snow is piled up about 10 feet deep around the parking lots. But this is warm snow, as opposed to the cold snow they used to get in New England.

Yeah the same warmcold we got about 35 years ago, when they said there would be an Ice Age!

  2. Steven – you’re wasting your indignation. This s–t Romm is a brick wall. He knows who pays him.
I occasionally send him a quote from ClimateGate, the best response I know to these liars. He already has my IP address on his dropdead list. Nothing goes through. Kinda’ like the Denver Post’s “Open Forum.”
If you really care, Grist actually still accepts comments. One occasionally encounters real people there.
    Enjoy the warm snow.

They actually got our snow….. we had 3 different “thaws” this winter and only have about 50 cm of snow left on the ground. It has been an unseasonably mild winter (for us) for which we are thankful (and we have used almost 2 cords of wood less than usual). 🙂

Other than that, weather is weather, whether you like it or not.

    • Russ says:

And where would that be, because I’ve seen all my neighbors go through their stock pile of wood and had to go for more.

        Nominingue, Qc.

We “only” got below -30C once this winter and that only lasted a day. Typically we get more than a dozen such temps and they tend to come in bunches with -40’s in there as well.

Guess we are in that big red blob that appears on all the isotherm maps. 3 years ago we had twice as much snow as “normal” and 4 years ago, much colder than “normal”. Early spring last year by about 6 weeks so, all in all, the total weather works out to be our climate… 😉

Where are the photos? We want proof of this extra ordinary claim. You do have a camera?

If Conn has two feet of global warming, wheres the rest of the torso? Is it like the missing heat?
