UN Climate Chief : Middle East Was Peaceful When CO2 Was Below 350 PPM

Is this lady visiting from another planet? What she describes has been going on in that region since records have been kept. The same type of lifestyle lead the current developed societies to invent what was needed to overcome those conditions. As long as they are pampered they will remain living in those conditions because it is easier to exist than achieve a better life style! The current agenda is to equalize the entire world at the poverty level!
yeah that’s the shot, give the corrupt UN $200 Billion per year and they’ll fix everything for us, including the Middle East kerfuffle that’s been going on since Adam was a boy.
My response? F%$k off
We were well below 350PPM atmospheric CO2 concentration during WWII. What happened? Everything should have been peachy keen.
What a load of rubbish. Hey, North Africa was the breadbasket of the Roman Empire before it got desertified due to natural climate change. We’ve been there before – nothing to do with man.
The extra CO2 is making crops yield better, thank you, as well as being more resistant to drought. So three cheers for the extra CO2.
And just what is pushing up food prices? Huge diversion of land and other resources to produce biofuels. Now that is definitely an anthropogenic effect.
Why make up conjectures about man’s effects on climate when you have a direct link between ‘green’ policies and hunger? You don’t need science to spot the connection.
Why, you may ask, did she not mention exploding populations i.e. Egypt.
This is the same crazy woman who prayed to the jaguar goddess in Cancun. If you look closely, I think it’s really Berlusconi in drag!
I think CO2 was below 350 during the 6 day war, and the Yom Kippur War, during the Crusades, etc. The populations of the world don’t need an excuse to start chopping each other up. Just ask a specific CBS news reporter how they celibrate the birth of freedom and democracy over there.
The fact that they are living under a dictorship has nothing to do with it, obviously.
How peaceful would the Middle East be if they were not getting income from “horrible poluting fossil fuels”?
Given that the US military is the largest emitter of CO2 on the planet, my suggestion is to cut back their presence by 90% and thereby save the planet.
Gaia herself is responsible for over 95% of CO2 production, so the US military is insignificant in its emissions. Now, would you suggest we blow up the grossly polluting planet to stop this evil CO2 production?
Yes, but of course it was better back in the day when you could take onboard what ever you pleased on any and all passenger jets. Back in the day when middle east terrorist by european communist proxy, and pretty much everyone else who wanted to, hijacked passenger jets for quick fun and get rich quick scheme for profit.
Yep, and ’twas much more peace full when ya just knew the guns was puny Soviet and Israeli made classics and not like now with crazy haubitzer calibre and self made self propelled rocket fueled mortars as effective as the threat of it all being catapulted (ACME catapult home built per internet spec) dirty laundry.
I guess nothing much was going on in World War I when the Brits crossed the Allenby Bridge into then Palestine, fighting the Turkish army and CO2 is reported as under 350 at that time. Just a small war in Palestine. Christiana’s history is limited.
Did anybody see Kofi Annan talking about the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt…
Here is a transcript of the report….. (Amr Moussa is the head of the Arab League)
AMR MOUSSA: The Arab citizen is angry, is frustrated. That is the point. So the name of the game is reform.
BEN KNIGHT: The former head of the United Nations, Kofi Annan, had a more succinct analysis.
KOFI ANNAN: Twenty-eleven has started very badly.
BEN KNIGHT: And the demonstrations are continuing in the place where it all began, Tunisia. Protesters there are demanding that former allies of the ousted president be kicked out of the interim government.

He said “2011 has started very badly”… That’s the UN’s view of the world. The UN loves dictators but hates people who actually try to fix their own countries.
It’s time the UN to go the way of the League of Nations…..
Egyptians were not rioting over food prices. Food is subsidised and affordable. If there are food shortages Christina might look at the UN move toward bio fuels. Half the US corn crop goes to ethanol and the Borneo jungle is being cleared for palm oil just as the Amazon forrest is being cleared for soy beans. This woman is seriously sick. I guess the lawyers invited her along to provide comic relief.
The Need to Recalibrate Our Understanding of History
We need to use this intelligent and sophisticated insight from Christiana Figueres to recalibrate our understanding of history.
For example, the initial expansion of Islam throughout the Middle East was not through jihad (where other religious communities — especially of Christians — were massacred or forced to convert to Islam). Rather, the expansion was due to the gracious wooing of those religious groups to the Religion of Peace by Muslims.
So also, the Crusades were not a belated military response of European Christians to the suffering of their Middle Eastern brethren. Instead, it was the long overdue realization by those European Islamophobes that the reason for the near disappearance of Christianity as the majority religion of the Middle East was because they had found something better, and the Europeans wanted to share in the blessings of peace and freedom that Islam afforded.
Oh wait! This last point can’t possibly be true. After all, we’re talking about white, European, Christian males, and we all know that they are always inherently evil. I guess if we had an accurate record of CO2 in Europe during the centuries of the Crusades, we’d find that CO2 levels were abnormally high in Europe in contrast to the rest of the world.
Those excessively high CO2 levels then re-emerged during the late 15th century when white, European, Christian males pushed Muslims out of Spain, and then came to the Americas to continue their exploitation and murder of the American “Indians”.
Etc., etc., blah, blah, blah.

No, this agenda is aimed to destroy the West, reduce the world population with 4.5 billion people and create an eco fascist world government.
If you don’t believe me, watch the first big famine start before the end of this summer among all those living from 2 US dollars a day and less.
They are the first to starve.
