The public is invited to attend and learn about the connection between climate change and public health in the Virgin Islands. The research center is seeking input on the best ways to communicate information to the public about adapting to climate change, such as extreme weather, flooding and shoreline loss due to sea level rise, and related public health issues, such as fish poisoning and dengue fever.
The meeting is a forum for evaluating methods Virgin Islanders currently use to communicate climate-related health challenges and help researchers determine how to get people to change their behavior.

There isn’t any sea level rise in the Virgin Islands

To better aid them in their fight against Regional Warming I think all tourism should cease as that is the leading cause of their problem. With no tourists they would not need as much land area to support that wasteful industry and without outsiders coming in communicable diseases would not have a host to invade the islands! The region can become a Wild Life Preserve and the Indigenous customs can be restored to their rightful position. All foreigners would need to be displaced and only those with total lineage to original residents should remain. Any “Mixing” dilutes the stock and results in corrupted diversity.
Steve, that’s USVI
Hmm, they’re having the meeting in the USVI, but the meeting is held by UVI, University of the Virgin Islands.
