   The article at the link has Schneider (from NCAR) on it.. I’m guessing the other groups included at least the CRU, and probably GISS or NCDC.

   I doubt there will be any response (unless we employ a medium) from Schneider, but if the members of the other groups are still alive (perhaps one was Hubert Lamb), they’d say that the same applies now because they’d say it is hotter now than it was back then.

   Article refers to “long-feared warming of the climate” and quotes Schneider (RIP).

   Let’s see, that would be the same Steve S. who was offering up “scary scenarios” of NUCLEAR WINTER with Carl Sagan in the mid-1970’s

   I guess one man’s “long fear” is another’s funding opportunity
