Hockey at the Los Alamos Ranch School – before it was taken over for the Manhattan Project.
Also there’s Pajarito Mountain just outside Los Alamos.
The addition of snow making machines had little to do with climate change but extending the season to compete with other resorts that used them. At the price they charge the return for a few extra days was profitable.
Also any resort that has snow making m/c’s knows it can offer guaranteed snow to visitors – a big plus if they are only going to ski!
Why are those kids wearing shorts? It’s cold. And don’t they ever wipe out onto their knees? No stick ever to the shin?
opps, shin and knees pads.I’ll pay more attention next time.
Doh!
