WASHINGTON — After the White House admitted badly handling its abrogation of the global warming treaty, President Bush yesterday conceded as he left for his first diplomatic trip to Europe that the United States is a major player in heating up the Earth.

Calling for more scientific research into how carbon dioxide emissions damage worldwide climate patterns, the president said: “Our country, the United States, is the world’s largest emitter of man-made greenhouse gases; we account for almost 20 percent of the world’s man-made greenhouse emissions. We also account for about one-quarter of the world’s economic output. We recognize the responsibility to reduce our emissions.”

The US should be most concerned about keeping and bumping up that quarter of the worlds economic output. Emissions are unimportant.

Another one of our Presidents who was an intellectual giant.

It should be a surprise to no one that these clowns (both Democrat and Republican) speak on behalf of one group: The Global Elite.

  4. You see? Both Republicans and Democrats like (or I should say liked) global warming. It was started by Margaret Thatcher—how’s that for you conservative Republicans? It could be that the only reason Republicans have, in general, backed away from global warming is because of Rush Limbaugh.

    I don’t miss Bush 43 and I won’t miss Bush 44 either.

Sorry folks, he is my hero. Can you imagine where we would be if he had not pulled the U.S. out of Kyoto. That alone warrants forgiving him for all his other sins.
