Funny … this was the “consensus” 70 years ago.

    GRADUALLY RISING.
    Earth’s Temperature.
But no one need be alarmed by such prospects. According to Dr Mather. the 10 degrees rise in average temperature which might have all these consequences is likely to take at least 15,000 years to develop. The probable increase in the depth of the oceans is an inch every 100 years.”

One meter? 3mil a year for 100 years equals 30 cm or about a foot. Someone change the length of the meter? Yeah, I know rate increase except the rate has been decreasing…

  4. Andy Weiss says:

    Ivan,

Maybe porpoises can adapt (assuming my spelling is correct)?

Is why I use Firefox……comes with a spell check. I believe though, there is a spell check available for IE as an add-on. WARNING!!!! It is still possible to appear illiterate with a spell check!

And your spelling seems correct……….according to Firefox.
