Pollution is BULLSHIT. We breath clean air here in the US!
Look esp at Pa., where I live, a large % of our electricity comes from coal, and we are downwind of other heavy coal states like Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. There is some pollution in the major cities, but certainly there are not coal plants located in the metropolitan areas. The air around the coal plants is CLEAN!
I have a friend, who lives in Hawaii (apparently an unfavorable climate), and no mention of dairy farms, apple orchards, or maple syrup producers-how can he possibly stand living in such unVermontlike conditions.
Sounds like the Georges Bank cod fishing industry will be replaced by the northern movement of the Maine lobster, and I’m sure L.L. Bean will fill the void in Maine.
