A couple days ago the press was warning of nuclear apocalypse, but they have moved that off the lead story – in favor of the one about Obama agreeing to get out of the way of people who want to help Libya.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

I am not sure it is helping Libya or the world. No one has said yet who the rebels fighting Gaddafi are. Are they the Muslim crazies who want to take over every country they can get their hands on? We are assuming they are good people who just want to be free of a dictator. But what if they are the beheading lot? Then the world is f*#@^#*g itself by going in. Or what if the country is so unstable after this attack from the world on Gadaffi is over that the Muslim crazies can move in real easy and take over?
But that could never happen because everything always works out good in the world. /sarc
No, he’s only agreed to do anything because he’s heard there are some great golf courses on the coast.
I think the luvvies at the beeb, wanted a nuclear disaster, so they could turn round to the world and say; “there we told you so.”
The watermelons [in the beeb] have always hated nuclear power, their parents marched to ban the bomb, moreover, if you work for Auntie [anti] you despise any ‘capitalist’ industrial technology – they [bbc lefty luvvies] would willingly go back to the water wheel and milling by waterwheel/windmill and horse and cart.
I should qualify that, they would have us, ie, you and me back in the neolithic, whilst they retained their Ipads, washing machines, dish washers, computers, gas fired central heating and 4x4s, it’s kinda a bit hypocritical…………..and so redolent of the hypocrisy of the Socialists aka, champagne socialism. Globull warbling, they love it – shows how much you care and you can still have those little ‘capitalist’ luxuries… .
Save the polar bears?!
Wait, it’s not 2012 yet.
Great! Let’s drop a ton of bombs on them and put in another puppet dictator and secure the oil!
Are we going to help the people of Saudi Arabia and Yemen and Bahrain?! How about the Ivory Coast? LOL

Smells like freedom.
They calculated their puppet would fall, and so turned on him. They’ll intervene in the other places too if their man looks like he’s going down. It’s all rather simple. The man can go down Mubarak style or Gadaffi style. Shoot some civilians and that’s all they need to justify the intervention. Or they can fake the civilian atrocities with their media, as has mostly been done in Libya.
I hope Halliburton isn’t too overburdened to rebuild the place and put in a new embassy and three or four bases.
Jobs!
