NYT 1882 : Polar Bears Smarter Than Arctic Explorers

The past Catlin expeditions have shown that to be a correct claim. I think Polar Bears should be transported to Antarctica to establish a presence there in response to the growing population of Antarctic Explorers. We import exotic species to control unwanted populations of “Pests” in other regions. They did after all reintroduce wolves in the Rockies to control the over population of cattle and sheep along with a few stray children and hikers.
Damn. That one was just getting good. Now I gotta get the linked PDF and start over.
