Half of the US states set their record high temperature during the 1930s.
No state has broken their record high temperature during the current millennium.

No state has broken their record high temperature during the current millennium.
That is because of global warming.
;O)
Yep, we’ve hotted so much we’re almost as hot as it was 80 years ago!
can you imagine if the dust bowl happened today………….
The climate science community is already deeply into superstition, with the weather very mild. Frightening to think what would happen if we had normal “extreme” weather.
lol, then we really would have people in sandwich boards proclaiming “the end is nigh!” We’ve raised a nation of wussies that demand an explanation for every variance from the norm, but can’t express what the norm is.
If the dustbowl were to happen today you can be 100% SURE they would pin the blame on global warming. Studies, based on climate models, will will give the biased (obvious and expected) results because global warming can cause floods and droughts. Remember just after the Tsunami?
This is the current state of affairs. Any extreme weather event (they have never happened before) has to be a sign from the gods of the global warming religion. Never mind that Tropical cyclone activity at 33 year low. They are just waiting for 1 bad one to hit and that’s it – caused or made worse by global warming in our cooling world.
That page was put up in 2007 and references a data sheet from 2003. It’s therefore not particularly surprising that there are no records from the last decade.
The trend for the last decade in the U.S. was that of slight cooling. Now look at the 1990’s vs the 1930’s. If you are correct, my guess is the number of records from the past decade would look something like that of the 1980’s.
There have been zero state high temperatures broken during the last decade. South Dakota may have tied their record.
I’m sure that many states broke their high temperature record in the last few years, and that you can list them for us.
Are you referring to me or Peter?
If AGW was catastrophic, as being claimed, it would seem extremely unlikely that most of the records would have been set 75-80 years ago and none in the last 10 years. You don’t have to be a math/science wiz to draw that conclusion.
Even the alamists are now saying that global warming has somehow skipped over the US, but is going gangbusters in places were no one lives and where there is very little actual data, like the southern Pacific and the very high latitudes. Sounds a bit suspect.
There must be force field bubble round the US, Andy.
The same one that keeps out rising sea levels.
