Hansen was spewing the identical nonsense, but the rest of the team wasn’t on board yet.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

A hopeful sign, imo.
If the man changed his mind as the 1990s as temperatures rose to the 1998 peak El Nino level, he may do so again when the gap between the expectations and reality becomes uncomfortably large.
I doubt whether he will change his mind again. He seems to have nailed his flag to the mast. He has been abusive to skeptics by calling them deniers as well as advising scientists to ignore them.
Hansen was also sceptical about CO2 being the main driver of temperature up to the year 2000.
They climbed on board once they realised funding was dependent on it.
They canceled the Geraldo Show? Damn! Oh wait that 1988.
Geraldo’s show got canceled?! Why am I always the last to find these things out?!
Oh, it was just one show. Thank God.
Geraldo lost my interest when he opened Bugsy’s safe because I had seen the interior of that safe in 1967. The Drawing in the dirt on global TV during a period of war only deepened my lack of respect.
Hey Mr. Goddard, you missed a nice nugget from that article…
Trentberth said temperature measurments tend to be made in cities, which got warmer due to rapid growth.
It is a Travesty that he forgot where the missing heat is! I also have that problem as I sometimes forget where I left my keys. I usually use the process of elimination by exploring all the logical places I might have left them. Perhaps DR “T” should do the same. I do believe his missing Heat may have been a product of his imagination. Next he will be relating how he was abducted by visitors from another Galaxy.
Didn’t Hitler have a Jewish girlfriend in his younger days?
