Early Spring In Michigan

Winter storm in Spring, sounds rather impossible to me, or do they get Winter storms in Summer and Autumn as well? AGW certainly is making more extreme events!
Andy
We use to get these type of storms regularly — before climate history started in 1979. I recall being stuck in Northern Michigan because late spring snow made travel hazardous.
Winter Storms only refers to the composition of the atmospheric effects and can happen any time of the year. This has been happening throughout recorded history and is seen in prehistoric records. Periods of glaciation, dramatic cooling will cause the most dramatic events. Blaming AGW is Pure Bull SH##! Actually it is a lie because AGW only exists in the deluded minds of those that do not have any clue about weather.
There cab be Summer HEAT WAVES any time of year also. Spring like weather conditions are also common throughout the year. It is just the common method of describing a particular weather pattern.
I suggest you check your Meds or consult your physician to be tested for proper medication balance. What you display remind me of a drug imbalance but it could be psychosomatic as your condition is a disability!
This is where I live and work. Drove 72 miles to work this morning it this storm. The school system north of Grayling and north to the bridge is almost shut down. Depending on orientation of the road they go from wet with some snow to very icy under a layer of wet heavy snow. The latter makes driving difficult in that it is hard to steer so once in tracks you tend to stay in them. Still snowing hard now at 0900 hrs wet heavy flakes.
Was reading about a snowstorm on May 9,1923 that gave 6″ to Detroit and up to 12″ not too far north and west. Further research is needed to determine whether this was a Warmcold or Coldcald event!
Even then, we were producing evil automobiles in Detroit, thus that snowstorm could have been the wrath of Gaia!!
