In 1988, Hansenlocks was lost in the climate forest when she stumbled upon the home of three scenarios. She was hot from having sabotaged the air conditioner, and looked for some Kool-Aid to cool down.
First she tried scenario A, and that was too hot. Then she tried scenario B, and that was also too hot. Scenario C had been in the refrigerator for over a decade, but even that was too hot.
So Hansenlocks was embarrassed and moved to a different venue on Venus – where it was hot enough to melt lead and she could show off her golden locks.
BIG JIM!
LMAO!!!!!
I agree. Very funny!
In spite for the fact that you are using the disavowed 4.2°C graph. In case you have no been following it, Hansen now says that he was wrong about that, and he accepts the more mainstream # of 3°C for CO2 doubling.
What part of scenario C is too high isn’t clear?
Can Hansen tell me how to stop my furnace from running?
Awww give it up Tony. One can not scare the begeezes out of people, initiate wholesale economic programs and changes by constantly urging policy makers to think of the children, then 20 years later say one was wrong.
Anyone who continually does that, such as Hansen, Flannery and many others, should be tar n feathered and run out of town.
Stop trying to defend the indefensible.
James Hansen – “once upon a time, then end”
sorry correction, ‘the end’
Excellent! LMAO!!
A Fairy Tale: Jimmy and the Lump of Coal.
Even your red line is too hot. It shows warming between 1998 and 2010, when there was no warming. But maybe you are just trying to smooth things out.
Hansenlocks! What a sense of humor! Clever too!
>i>This, Hansen wants to warn us, is a recipe for global warming disaster. The recent warm winters that Britain has experienced are a clear sign that the climate is changing, he says.
So said Homer in 2008. No doubt the colder winters in the 3 years since have validated his theory.

Oh bugger, I meant
Meanwhile ” Scientists Say” –
– Global warming is forecast to set in with a vengeance after 2009, with at least half of the five following years expected to be hotter than 1998, the warmest year on record, scientists reported on Thursday.
Well last year was not and this year certainly ain’t shaping up. Still perhaps they were misquoted and meant 3009.

Love your humor Steve! Sets this site apart from all the rest, and makes it lots of fun to post here…
But for maximum effect, too bad those weren’t polar bears. Or are they alrteady extinct?
Hey! no one is perfect, so your addition is great! Steve probably just did not think of adding that twist.
Good idea
