By this date last year, Hudson Bay ice was already melting. This year, the area is forecast to be locked in a deep freeze for at least two more weeks. Looks like the Polar Bears will have plenty of ice for their daiquiris.

The current temperature at Chruchill is 3 (F). Their normal high is 29. They have been running 25 degrees below normal the last couple days. Even on the south shore of James Bay, it’s only 12.
Despite the slow start, it would appear that the Husdon Bay ice is doing just dandy. The alarmists who were shrieking about the sizzling January warmcold heatwave must now all be in hiding.

Cold now means even more warming of the Climate! The warmer it gets the colder it feels and the lower the thermometer readings will be. Do not let appearances fool you because it is warming just like the models predicted.
