Is climate change causing earthquakes? Extreme weather is moving tectonic plates, scientists claim
People who are ridiculed for saying that earthquakes are a result of global warming could actually be right, scientists claim.
Long-term climate change has the potential to spin Earth’s tectonic plates, according to a news study from the Australian National University.
Working with researchers in Germany and France, they have established a link between the motion of the Indian plate over the last ten million years and the intensification of Indian monsoons.
Monsoon rain increased by four metres every year, speeding up the motion in the Indian plate by one centimetre a year, said Dr Giampiero Iaffaldano from the ANU research school of earth sciences.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Four meters? That is about 13 feet or 150+ inches a year. That is ludicrous! Where do they come up with this BS?
Funny. But this is actually great. It is so ridiculous that it is bound to destroy more of their credibility.
I’m assuming, comparing it to the earlier thing you posted on this, that this is the work of the ‘journalist.’ For the most part they don’t even seem to think when they write about this stuff.
Makes you wonder which side they are really on……don’t it
“People who are ridiculed for saying that earthquakes are a result of global warming could actually be right, scientists claim.”
Do not keep such an open mind that your brain falls out. This shows how little science these “scientists” know. One must have a knowledge filter, aka a BS filter.
“Monsoon rain increased by four metres every year, speeding up the motion in the Indian plate by one centimetre a year, said Dr Giampiero Iaffaldano . . .”
Correlation does not mean causation. Furthermore, they may claim a connection but that does not mean that it will hold up when real scientists test/falsify it.
More propaganda.
