Severe Weather In The Southeast US

Over the next three days, strong contrasts across the frontal boundary are going to lead to lots of severe weather. This animation shows humidity.

    The front is close to Nashville and moving in my direction. It should hit this afternoon. We are expecting in excess of 2 inches of rain, high winds, and possible hail.

    You aren’t going to get 40″ of rain? If not, no reason to build your Ark!

      I have seen 7 inches in one storm system but I do not expect 40!
      If I do get 40 inches my runoff system might be overloaded but I sit highenough above the road that even 40 inches will not flood my house. The barn sits 20 ft above the road and the house 50 ft above that 200 ft off the road.
