Skyrocketing vs. Soaring

Obama is against soaring energy prices, but he is for skyrocketing energy prices.

Citing serious issues facing the country, including high unemployment, soaring gas prices and the challenge of reducing the deficit, he said Americans and their political leaders need to “come together in a bipartisan way and solve these problems.”

There is no real solution that the American people will swollow, so Obama wil do whatever it takes to forestall the inevitible collapse and try to get re-elected.

  2. Paul H says:

What O’Blimey really means is that he wants high unemployment, soaring energy prices and a growing deficit and that there should be a bi-partisan policy where the GOP agree to everything he wants.

He was for skyrocketing energy costs before he was against it.

Don’t forget FDR was reelected twice before the war intervened and unemployment was still well over double digits. FDR succeeded in creating an ever increasing permanent class reliant on government.

Never underestimate a public dependent on government and 59% of the population receiving government aid in one form or another. If Obama and the Democrats can paint any opponent as one who will take away the handouts, Obama will be back, and so will Progressive Democrats in Congress.

Work hard. Millions more on welfare are depending on you.
