Despite years of warnings, scientific consensus,, global treaty negotiations, and the appearance of predicted increased instances of violent weather and climate refugees, nearly half of Americans don’t worry about global warming. According to Gallup, the number of Americans who worry “a great deal” or “a fair amount” about climate change has decreased from 63% of respondents in 2001 to 51% today. In the poll of attitudes toward nine major environmental issues, about three quarters of Americans were very or somewhat concerned about water issues, including toxic contamination of water, pollution of bodies of water, and pollution of drinking water, and 72% worried a great deal or a fair amount about air pollution.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Oooops! Another failed prediction. Nothing, but nothing will stop these fear mongers.

A large rise in climate refugees by 2050 is unlikely.
The peer reviewed evidence says there has been no trend.

SST are going down. Snowfalls are no longer a thing of the past……………………….
We Americans are stupid, selfish and anti intellectual for not believing what Big Brother is telling us and by not drinking the Kool Aide like docile sheep.
72% worried about air pollution? Does anyone except the eco-nuts sit around thinking about air pollution? I’m looking out my window upon a fairly large city and I don’t see any pollution. None. I used to live in LA and saw downtown when it was socked in. The last few times I was there, it was greatly improved. As I looked around, I didn’t see 72% of people walking around, staring at the sky, worrying. Who are these people? Is this 72% of the 97% self identifiers?
I live in the D… and yes no one seems to live here any more and everything is abandoned, but the air is remarkably clean. I also grew up on a farm in the Ohio Valley and durned if it wasn’t horribly dirty air 30years ago… but now… its amazing how clean the air is. The EPA wasn’t always evil nor delusional… sad how far they’ve fallen recently.
