We Can Slow Global Warming At The Bargain Price of $5 Trillion Over The Next Decade

Global warming has slowed to a stop. Why waste any money on a self-correcting ‘problem’. Spend the money on real environmental concerns not this scam.
Jimbo,
there is NO global warming. It is all natural variation. Therefore it has not slowed to a stop, but is heading back down in the cycle. By 2020 according to some of the experts cited here, temps will be back to the 1970’s range and scientists will be warning about the coming ice age.
Be careful what you wish for.
By the way global warming was projected to cause milder winters. Now it’s projected to cause colder winters. This is the problem with your side: multiple, conflicting projections / predictions so you won’t be caught out. Nice try though. ;O)

The Arctic has never been so low of summer sea ice.

Duncan,
I want to ask you a few honest question so I hope you give me honest answers.
Inside your mind are you pleased when temperatures fall?
Would you be pleased if Arctic ice recovered to the 1979-200 average?
Typo:
“….1979-2000 average?”
Jimbo,
Actually I would be pleased if there was a homeostatic response that resulted in little temperature increase from CO2. Some ideas have been presented which may have validity. GCR relation to Cloud formation is a possible source of uncertainty. unexpected biomass, such as bacteria, or a few other possibilities and maybe things no one has thought of.
I admit I would be shocked if the often stated scenarios mentioned here other than those turned out to be true, but I would not be disappointed if temperatures did not increase 3°C or more by the end of the century (or two degrees by 2050, which is possibly as far a head as I will likely see.) I would be relieved. About arctic ice as well.
If temperatures continue to decline, as they have so far this century – how long before they increase 3C?
No you can’t.
Even if we invest ten times this amount of money.
The science is doubtful, the political objectives are very velar and the entire scheme is nothing more but a criminal fraud.
It’s cheaper to grow tomatoes on Mars, just as stupid.
Ah, but if we terraformed Mars, so that we could grow tomatoes, we will have a place to go after the destruction of earth!
You have given the warmists an even BIGGER cause for spending all our hard earned money and taking our freedoms away.
A simple equation based on the physical phenomena involved, with inputs of accepted measurements from government agencies, calculates the average global temperatures (agt) since 1895 with 88.4% accuracy (87.9% if CO2 is assumed to have no influence). See the equation, links to the source data, an eye-opening graph of the results and how they are derived in the pdfs at http://climaterealists.com/index.php?tid=145&linkbox=true (see especially the pdfs made public on 4/10/10, and 3/10/11).
The future average global temperature trend that this equation calculates is down.
This trend is corroborated by the growing separation between the rising CO2 and not-rising agt. From 2001 through Feb, 2011 the atmospheric CO2 increased by 22.2% of the total increase from 1800 to 2001 while the average global temperature has not increased and the trend of the average of the five reporting agencies has been declining steeply since the peak of the last El Nino in about March 2010. The 22.2% CO2 increase is the significant measurement, not the comparatively brief time period.
As the atmospheric CO2 continues to rise in the 21st century while the agt does not, more people will realize that they have been deceived.
This is the Warmists worst nightmare. We are coming out of a decade of non-warming and now it’s cooling. If this continues much longer then it should be drawn to the attention of the relevant congressional committees and the UK House of Commons.
No ifs about it Jimbo. The scam artists formerly known as climate scientists know the action is in the Central Pacific, that’s why they’ve diverted all the attention to the Poles.
The CP goes through 35.8year cycles of predominant ENSO events.
We’ve been through the predominant El Ninos, now it’s time for predominant La Ninas.
All it takes is a quiet Sun during predominant La Ninas to slow the recharging of the oceans.
We’ll have to wait until the 2040’s before any warming resumes. if the sun doesn’t wake up in the meantime…..brrrrrrr
The World Economic Forum was started in the early 1970s – and Maurice Strong was a longtime Foundation Director of the World Economic Forum.
For those who haven’t heard of Maurice Strong – he was the single most influential person to get the global warming scare going at the UN, starting in 1971. Involved with UNCED, IUCN, WWF, World Resources Institute, Commission on Global Governance and Club of Rome, Strong has also been special advisor to every head of the UN in the last 40 years.
For details on Maurice Strong see: http://www.appinsys.com/GlobalWarming/GW_History.htm
Maybe we can get Superman to stop global warming. His going rate is less than $500 billing a year. I’m sure he come up with something more effective than changing your lightbulb, or setting up wind farms to slaughter birds.
