35 million years ago, Giant Sequoias grew in Colorado. This fossilized stump is almost 4 metres in diameter and was probably 90 metres tall. These trees are now only found in California.
It kind of pisses me off that we used to have a nice climate like California, and then global cooling came along and made it cold all the time. I blame you, because you simply aren’t generating enough CO2.

Definitely worth a visit. I used to go to summer camp near there as a child, but I don’t think they had found any of the stumps at the time. Or maybe I just wasn’t paying attention …..
