If memory serves, the primary driver for arctic sea ice fluctuations is the wind. The ice gets transported out through the Fram Strait by a wind driven current. So to focus only on temperature and melting seems a bit of a partial analysis. It would be helpful to have a measure of the impact of the wind patterns, sort of like degree days, to get a sense of what is driving the ice loss.
It looks like the agitator in an old wash machine with too much soap but I definitely can see Al Gore’s carbon footprint in the middle of one of the images and he has pointed toes.
That’s because you have cropped some of the edges off and also there is cloud over Bering hiding the retreat there. In fact 1.5 million square kilometers have gone, or 941 232.6 Manhattan’s as you would measure it in.
Yeah, melt does seem to have hit something of a brick wall in the last week or so.

You can not see that fleet of freighters that J S said were going to be there? Neither can I!!

The image is spiral shaped, so that must be the death spiral that the warmists have been promising.
It is a Hurricane! Donchano!!! It is getting so warm the Tropical Hurricanes are forming in the Arctic region! 8)
What about the smell test? Maybe the remaining ice is rotten.
