Environmental/Climate Science Nearing Extinction Phase

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthnews/8587354/Worlds-oceans-move-into-extinction-phase.html

Almost every creature in the sea evolved with temperatures and atmospheric CO2 much higher than at present. Charles Darwin brought forward theories that animals adapt to changes in the environment, and that the most adaptable survive.

What is clear is that many climate/environmental scientists are incapable of adapting and will soon become extinct.

    All together now!

    It’s worse than we thought.

  2. Mike Davis says:

A species extension event that will result in a better world!

Marine experts don’t understand simple sea chemistry (or complex chemistry). The simple form is CO2+H2O->H2CO3 which weakly forms H+ + HCO3- (its the weakest known acid) ->2H+ +CO32-
    Ca2++CO32–>Ca(CO3)2 thereby stabilising corals.

Complex form is beyond me but there is a lot more in sea water than CO2,H2O,Ca2+,Na+,Cl-
An enormous of ions and organic chemicals that interact.

Also don’t undersand atmospheric radiation physics- the ocean is heated by the sun directly. The oceans put that heat back due to internal mechanism into the atmospheric system not the other way round. Their large capacity means it can only come direct from the sun or Earth’s internal energy, impossible to come from the tiny reservoirs of the atmosphere and land.

A full expose of these so called “marine experts” is at

They are actually a bunch of greenie activitists who wouldn’t know what the ocean was if you threw them in it.

      Great article and research.

Pay no attention to the eco-warriors behind the curtain.

Get a load of the ‘mission statement’ from the bunch that put out this ‘study’. They’re superheroes.

β€œThe International Programme on the State of the Ocean (IPSO) was established by scientists with the aim of saving the Earth and all life on it.”

What happened to the theory that over fishing was depleting the amount of fish in the seas? So now it’s not over-fishing it’s carbon released by mankind’s way of life? This is not to mention that we are close to having 7 billion hungry mouths to feed? Does this have anything to do with the acidification of the oceans of the world? How about the lost of corral reefs caused by the man made flooding? Let’s not forget about the damage it will due to the Great Barrier Reef of Austrailia. With the vast amounts of minerals and soils that has escaped into the Ocean.

I thought that this was bad news but rather life as we have always known it to be on Planet Earth.

Is it possible that Louise Gray is mentally ill?

    • Al Gored says:

Now that you mention it, it is kind of weird the way she goes on about mass extinction with that grin on her face. Its almost like she’s hoping it will happen.

But fear not. It is just a “preliminary” report. It might not happen after all. Although I don’t think “starvation” is unprecedented.

  7. Beano says:

If you see this name – Ove Hoegh-Guldberg, then you know you see a report from an activist with a degree.

Time and time again he has been proved wrong

  8. Dave G says:

It’s official, ADAPTATION is gone, history, bye bye!! Oh wait, it’s still in the dictionary!!
