Climate alarmism has nothing to do with science. Why are these people still in business?

Professor Garnaut said Australia should support an emissions trading scheme starting in 2010, putting him at odds with the call by the Opposition Leader, Malcolm Turnbull, to delay the scheme until 2012. But he warned against giving unlimited protection to the highest polluting export industries, saying it would force Europe and the US to do the same.
The conference will hear from scientists giving the latest Australian research on the impact of climate change on agriculture, human health and coastal communities from rising temperatures, lower rainfall, higher bushfire risk and rising sea levels.
Of acute concern is whether the El Nino weather pattern which brings drought to south-eastern Australia may become permanent.
Two years ago they predicted permanent El Nino and drought. This year they claim that they predicted La Nina floods.
Are Australians really that self centered that they think they can control the world’s weather with their own emissions trading scheme?
Hey lat, what’s with the generalising. “Are Australian POLITICIANS…”
Whatever it is, it’s got your carbon footprint on it.
Andy, one of the funniest mixed metaphors is, I think it was Mann or Hansen that claimed that the U.S. temperatures didn’t count because the U.S. is only something like 5-6% of the earths land….or something like that. So we’re too small to matter…….
But then the same yoyo went on to say that us and us alone can control the world’s weather by reducing our emissions.
