Plans for big windmill project in Tehachapi are abandoned
Terra-Gen Power tried to get more than 7,000 acres of land re-zoned for the Pahnamid Windmill Development Project. “If this project had gone through, they would have bulldozed the Tehachapi mountains, an area larger that 640 football fields.”

Interesting! The name Tehachapi and Wind wills go together As driving through the pass the sky line is lined with windmill farms. It actually looks as if the larger ones had babies because of the various sizes and types. Of course I learned that windmills are the most environmental destructive energy source per watt generated.
Scientific American in full “blatant lies” mode
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=extreme-weather-caused-by-cliimate-change
Mystery solved…”Reporting for this story was funded by Pew Center on Global Climate Change”. Scientific American has never been more idiotic.
There needs to be a law where magazines and newspapers must reveal if their articles are basically brokered info-mercials for the various NGO’s and special (typically leftist) interest groups..
OT: but their should also be a law where NGO standing rights are reviewed on an annual basis to somewhat reign in NGO extremism.
Greenpeace is attempting to kill people all over the world!
You go Geojellyroll!!!
From the Scientific American comments section:
There is no longer much ‘science’ in Scientific American’. This article is akin to saying:.. Look in the sky, it’s obvious that the Moon is bigger than the Sun’.
This article is a pathetic piece of agenda driven tripe.
Science is about evidence of DIRECT linkage of two variables…not idle sperculation.

To which I say: congratulations Greenpeace on having your charity status rescinded in New Zealand. With any luck, the same will happen everywhere else i the world.
