When asked to assume……..
“The Poll shows that when asked to assume…”
We all know what happens when you ass-u-me
@Ill Wind: You mean this Washington Post? This paper parrots whatever AGW nonsense is out there. In case you missed my link on a previous post, here it is again:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/10/07/AR2010100705484.html
lol, And once it is revealed to the general public that tornadoes don’t have a damned thing to do with global warming, they’re going to be even less receptive to the lunatic fringe.
The scam is unravelling slowly but surely. If the sun goes quiet, as it looks like it will, we could be in for some serious cooling. Then the AGW crowd will have to find some other dead horse to flog.
But make no mistake, they will, unless they are punished for this generation of madness.
your also ASSUMING that the graphs from Hansen will show cooling…NOT…..
As others have mentioned, they’ve got the “ocean acidification” scare brewing in the background.
The new scare goes that If “carbon” doesn’t cause warming, it’s only because the “carbon” is being sucked into the deep dark oceans and converted to “acid.” Where of course it’s “killing” everything. Another apocalyptic, no future scenario that they’re use to promote the lucrative “decarbonization” schemes.
By the way, any upcoming 2012 Maunder Minimum cooling event will be used to “prove” (this is a Hansen tactic) that the solar cooling will actually mask the “carbon” warming, just as the oceans hide the buildup of “carbon” in the atmosphere.
They are not going to drop that “decarbonization” meme no matter what, because it is the key to global control and one-worldism.
Garry, they don’t stand a chance with that……
According to them, corals evolved when there would have been “ocean acidification”.
Using their logic, we should make the oceans less base to save the reefs…………….
Climate science…..the science of assuming
Now that’s a tight fit.
Well put!
The Washington Post and Freedman in particular are out to lunch on this issue.
Same goes for George Mason University, that highly esteemed cow college situated in beautiful Fairfax, VA. Only 20 miles from DC, the ideal location for incestuous peer review and non-stop grant groveling.
The only important category is “primary cause”. What fraction say primary cause? The category of “contributing” means nothing and should be ignored. It is there only to rig the polling to get the desired answer sought by warmists.
Poll should be phrased: Would you agree that global warming is a very real and present danger to human life on earth and it is entirely or primarily caused by human emissions of CO2?
A) Yes
B) No
Now why do we not see any results on this poll anywhere?
Went directly to the published report. Here is the result to the only relevant question in their entire survey:
Caused mostly by human activities:
Nov 2008: 57%
Jan 2010: 50%
May 2011: 47%
Good to see the percentage is steadily dropping. They wouldn’t even ask a question drectly related to CO2 emissions. Had to include ALL sources of human activities… how lame.
If they only polled people who had actually studied a few of the facts, the % would drop to single figures.
