   This event lead to a massive “Make Work” project that is continuing to this day, The ACOE and their flood control attempts that provided a false sense of security to millions of people and left them in harms way.

   1927 was also the year of the Great Vermont Flood. Also the year Babe Ruth hit 60 home runs.
