Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) — Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets are melting faster than expected and the future rise in sea level will be “much higher” than previously forecast, a group of 26 climate scientists said in a report today.
The rise in global sea level since 1995 has been 3.4 millimeters a year (0.13 inches), 80 percent greater than past predictions, said Richard Somerville, a professor at Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego and a contributor to today’s report. Sea levels may rise 1 meter by 2100, double earlier forecasts, according to the report.

So we’re witnessing a frenetic effort by science charlatans to resuscitate the AGW threat under the new banner of “climate change.” Their latest strategy is to blame any severe weather event on man’s minuscule contribution of CO2 to the atmosphere. Major point. Virtually all of them are like frightened cowards running full speed away from debate. Because the evidence and the arguments are on our side. They lose debates without fail. We need to keep goading them to debate, and hope for a high profile debate that would move the public opinion meter our way.
They can not debate the “Science” because there is no science to debate. Science requires a testable hypothesis and They only have WAGs.
Perhaps the most famous debate on AGW involved the late Michael Crichton, Lindzen, and actually Somerville and others on their side. This lengthy debate occurred April 2007, and I think the bs artists learned their lesson not to do that anymore.
