Bad Summer Ahead For Arctic Alarmists

Not only is Bering Sea ice at a record high extent, but the water surrounding it for hundreds of miles is at near record low temperatures.

    But sea ice is dropping per Cryosphere Today.

    One of my hypotheses for the reduction in sea ice is that some change in deeper ocean currents has affected the ice. These warmer, deeper currents may have changed so that they “surface” in the Arctic, melting ice. This year might be a good test for that since the surface water on the Alaskan side of the Arctic is clearly colder than normal.

    Total layman’s guess of course…
