Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka has dozens of brick works pumping all manner of CO2 and SO2 into the atmosphere from the wood and coal fired kilns. Dhaka has a bad air pollution problem!
Plus air pollutions from other sources. There’s supposed to be at least 15,000 Bangladeshis killed annualy due to air pollution.

Bill McKibben is one of those Loons. Whose often ranting on about the ‘evil’ West for causing ‘imagined’ climate change to Bangladesh. Only to ignore their actual problem is ‘self inflicted’ air pollution!
Marion, I can testify to Bill McKibben being a loon. I’ve heard him speak in person, and everything he said was false. His whole 350 rationale is… irrational. He even tried to dress up what he said with a Christian veneer, but as a Christian, am ashamed to have his rhetoric and Christianity connected. Even the talk organisers, Christians themselves (and friends of mine), when challenged, effectively disowned him. Anything that drives people into further poverty is anti-Christian (which leaves the charity ‘Christian Aid’ in a tricky spot!).

This past Monday was memorial day, where we honor those who gave everything so that we could live free. And I was thinking about those sacrifices. And how many are liberal loons.
