In 2008, the US elected a completely unqualified candidate to the presidency – because he was black. In 2012, the same candidate has added four years of failure, division, taking credit for other people’s accomplishments and deferring blame to his resume – and still almost half of the voters will vote for him.
This is different from 2000 and 2004, when America elected a completely unqualified candidate because of his surname.
If we’d have only elected Ag Lore in 2000, he could have beefed up the PMRC into a real enforcement organization. And he would have bought them all shiny new boots to wear to the PMRC rallies out of his presidential salary. And none of this “Inconvenient Truth” B.S. would have had to’ve been crammed down our throats.
At least Bush II had a past and actually had experience of running things. It could have been a lot worse… Imagine having Al Gore as a president of USA. That is one scary thought…
Yep Lou. Gore as president would have been a nightmare worse than Obama.
Something is seriously wrong with both parties.
The Republicans only saving grace is they are not Democrats.
When was the last time we really had a decent choice? It’s always hold your nose when you vote. No difference this time.
I’m not watching one single ad….not a debate…..nada
Won’t make one bit of difference……I’m walking in….going right down the repub ticket…and walking out
Hotair notes a new Romney ad that’s limp, weak. My comment:
I’m afraid that Romney like clockwork is just doing another goody two-shoes. No one likes someone who thinks they got a monopoly on the moral high ground, so that’s a lot of the reason McCain went down, and now Romney is following in his footsteps. You think that you are holier than thou, and you won’t “stoop” to attacking Obama where it matters, a sure recipe for defeat. And it’s NOT ABOUT THE ECONOMY! Everyone knows that.
You have to get dirty to expose dirty. Once you get dirty, you don’t have to worry about it anymore. Just keep going after Obama where it hurts. Romney: quit the pretense of being a Saint, or you lose.
Reagan never even acknowledged that Carter existed
That’s different. That’s another story. But it’s true that McCain barely acknowledged Obama’s true existence, other than to say “Obama’s a good family man” and that we have nothing to fear in an O presidency. What a goof.
Lets talk about the economy
