Extreme Weather Update : July Was The Quietest On Record For Both Hurricanes And Tornadoes

SUMMERTIME, AND THE TWISTERS ARE MISSIN’
JULY HEADS FOR A RECORD-LOW TORNADO COUNT
Bob Henson | July 24, 2012 • Heat and drought are punishing much of the United States right now, but there’s actually some good weather news to report. This month is on track to produce fewer tornadoes than any July on record, and by a long shot.

There were also no hurricanes or tropical storms in the Atlantic during July.

This is what global warming looks like. Connect the dots, man!

Thanks to climate scientists like Kerry Emanuel and Judith Curry advising insurance companies on future hurricane activity, Floridians have had huge property insurance rate hikes every year since the busy 2004 hurricane year. Many homeowners now pay more for insurance than they do in property taxes.

I look forward to receiving a $12,000 rebate check from our insurance carrier since they blew the actuary estimates so badly. Any day now. It would be irresponsible for the insurance companies to have spent those extra premiums on expenses unrelated to claims…

What happened to catastrophic climate change? Haha, fun to watch these AGW idiots make fools of themselves every time they scream AGW is happening when a weather event happens. Eventually, if you keep screaming about every little weather event, the public will lose interest in the topic, as it has done over the past 5 years.

What about their 4 “unprecedented” imaginary tropical storms in June?

    • Eric Webb says:

Those 4 tropical systems were real, in fact we got a hurricane. However the main point is, there’s no way we would have been able to detect them without satellites, and for NOAA to call it “unprecedented” is just plain wrong.

The article mentions that it’s believed that the drought has led to a lack of enough moisture to build tornadoes. Poor CAGW guys–even when they think they’ve found ‘proof’ for their silly theories, there turns out to be a positive side. How much ‘rain on their parade’ can these guys take?

The more I read this blog the more I’m convinced that anthropogenic global warming er climate change is flat out unmitigated malarkey. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
Steven, you make so very many argument points to counter specific warmist deceptions. It would be really great if somehow your points were databased with easily findable info to meet a skeptic’s argument requirements, and Steven it seems you are also the most prolific contributor to the skeptic cause (I nominate you for a gold medal). It needs to be more than just searchable, though, it needs to be organized in drill down fashion by topic, or something like that. A minor problem is that I and others don’t seem to be able to link to stevengoddard dot wordpress dot com posts from this particular website without being put in the spam filter, so, as they say, dats not good. Ok, an idea (for anyone here to implement), though it be a ton of work and possible expense (but $ could be made [so consider it]), create another website for helping skeptics quickly formulate arguments, based initially on S Goddard posts, but also posts and points from other sites (or books whatever) could be brought it.
