Embarking on a two-week blitz to sell the tax, the Prime Minister declares in The Australian today that the carbon price will drive a transformation in the nation’s economy and create tens of thousands of new green jobs over the next 20 years.
Tax worth fighting for: Julia Gillard’s carbon blitz begins | The Australian
Great. She can slap the tens of thousands of green jobs on top of the five million green jobs which Obama has already created.

Arrggh.. My iPhone was playing up..
She can add those to the ones she subtracted from the Climate Change office.
Hmm, maybe Enel Green Power can move there. It seems their work in Italy and Spain and Portugal is done. http://suyts.wordpress.com/2012/07/01/moving-on-to-other-economies/

Don’t know what’s comin’ tomorrow
Maybe it’s trouble and sorrow
But they’ll travel the road sharin’ their load side by side
Through all kinds of weather
What if the sky should fall?
Just so long as they’re together
It doesn’t matter at all …

Stealing off the majority at great cost to employ a minority to do a job nobody needed that produces less for the economy than the total cost of the taxation which made the people poorer that in turn have to burn more energy to produce more to pay for it..
That will just about sum it up. Now lets see if the cretins out there can prove me wrong.
Green jobs boost like the US company Abound Solar Inc., a U.S. solar manufacturer that had American taxpayers on the hook for $400 million but now they’ve closed their doors, and are to file for bankruptcy, after losing only $70 million of Department of Energy funds.
That’s small change really, as $72 billion is committed to alternative energy in the last few years, but getting $330 million back here and $330 million there, and pretty soon we are talking about real stupid amounts of money.
” You didn’t have the green thing.”
