This week, after reviewing his own new data, NASA climate scientist Jay Zwally said: “At this rate, the Arctic Ocean could be nearly ice-free at the end of summer by 2012, much faster than previous predictions.”
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Who are you going to believe? Your lying eyes looking at reality or the official pronouncements of certified government senior scientists? Now if we would only start believing, the polar snow and ice could get on with its melting. It is only because we are skeptical that it doesn’t. Or so the demented left is trying to make us believe.
Since I know that governments have lied to We the People since the first government was formed, I don’t believe a word they say. That is unless and until I have verified it with my own observations and/or with multiple lines of INDEPENDENT evidence.
The results of math/computer models are neither independent nor evidence. They are only attempts at explanation and must themselves be tested against multiple lines of independent evidence. Even if they appear to check out OK, they are valid only within the limits and contexts of the tests. Go outside those limits at your own risk. Reality has a way of being what it is rather than what you want, expect, or need it to be.

Unfortunately, the chicken little madness rages on and on and on and on and ….
There he goes again, using those scientificky terms like “nearly”
Nearly is in the eyes of the beholder.
Hoo-boy, where’d the ice go? Oh wait, it’s still there!
Anybody remember the film “The Eleventh Hour”? THE CRISIS IS REAL, DAWGS.
Just how many more failed predictions do these fools need to make before we bang them up in the loon bin? They will eventually be correct but not now as the Arctic has been ice free during some summers in the Holocene. Let’s hope they are right during the Holocene. 😉
There’s no way under the current climate you could get ice-free conditions. You would have to have a whole lot less winter ice, or some seriously strong melting happening in the basin in the early spring. A strong DA most of the season to push a lot of it as well. When you see 2007 minimum ice in July, then you can start saying something. Good luck with that. Nature doesn’t play by climate model rules.
