The same thing happened with Australia’s permanent drought. Never make predictions, especially about the future. 🙂

BUT,BUT,BUT Droughts and Floods are the same thing now days, Donchano! 😉
I live in Manchester where we have just come to the end of a week of lovely dry weather. Around 5pm the Mrs and I got soaked pulling the clothes off the washing line. The drought seems to have broken 150 days earlier than forecast.
Red Devils or Blues?
Wow, I guess hot=cold and dry=wet. What an upside down, twisted world these people live in.
The Brits love to be odd.
They disarm the population to protect the criminals and prosecute those who try to defend themselves to determine if they used too much force in defending themselves. ‘Don’t want to hurt a bad guy, do we? That would not be fair.
They produce a National Healthcare System to provide the Western World’s worst medicine.
They deny good teaching to create an illiterate population.
They have extensive welfare to destroy the population’s morals and motivation, family structure, and foster spousal abuse and child abuse.
Yep, how’s that devolution of a once thriving society working for them? It’s working quite well, old chap.
Hmm.
So the US has the right bear arms and there are multiple murders by guns every 5 to 9 minutes.
They have an insurance based health system that excludes so many that when a doctor used to treating patients in AFRICA set up a free dental clinic in a car park in a Midwest city they were inundated.
If you travel down Route 66 (the actual route, not the Interstate bypasses) you’ll see half the towns deserted and the rest having garage sales to try and scrape enough together to eat.
The US education system delivered Al Gore and James Hansen.
A greater part of New Orleans is still a wasteland and will probably remain so; let’s not waste bucks supporting everybody who’s lives were destroyed because an incompetent Govt didn’t maintain the levees, and heck it’s not like they’re white anyhow.
How’s the American Dream working out for you, buddy?
Almost all of the gun murders are with illegal guns, but thanks for the non-sequitur
Well I think the non-sequitur started with the UK bashing in the comment above mine, non of it related to the drought. As Romney found out, while we may be dismayed with our pointless and inefficient public sector we don’t take too kindly to somebody throwing rocks out of their own glass house.
