Weather Channel Buys Website Named After 1960s Terrorist Organization

Weather Underground was the name of a notorious 1960s terrorist organization, which included Obama’s terrorist buddy, Bill Ayers.

Jeff Masters named his web site after them, and now the Weather Channel has bought them out. I expect that the site will now become completely useless, with The Weather Channel in control.

It’s true. After 17 years as an independent company, Weather Underground has been sold, and will now be part of The Weather Channel Companies (TWCC.) As one of the founders of Weather Underground, I am excited about embarking upon this new chapter in our company’s history. Having the infrastructure, resources, and content of The Weather Channel Companies will enable wunderground to create some great new products, and improve the quality and reliability of our existing content. We will now be called Weather Underground, LLC, and will maintain the wunderground.com web site as it is.

Hopefully, the Weather Underground will help to keep the ratings sliding on the weather channel.
, and of course with Jeff Masters there too, now he will be able to spread his lies and propaganda even more so into the mainstream public, hopefully the public ignores these socialists idiots.

  2. Eric Webb says:

I noticed on Master’s blog page that he had a picture of the founders of the Weather Underground, but he didn’t mention Bill Ayers…hmmm…

Now where can I get accurate weather info?

  4. Brian says:

I loved The Weather Channel until about 2009. I haven’t really watched it since. Decent forecasting has been replaced by dull TV shows and Al Roker.

  5. DC Andy says:

Weather Channel has their stock prefabricated fluff that they rerun 100 times. When big storms head toward DC, they are showing rescues in Alaska.

  6. heidi says:

Why would you name your program after a terrorist organization? How is that a good idea?

    • John Mashall says:

Thank you for asking the obvious question. My guess is that they think it’s cute. It isn’t and eventually there will be a price to pay for their ridiculousness.

  7. John Mashall says:

You have to be an ass to name your organization after a group that bombed police stations.
