According to Dr. Walt Meier at NSIDC, the Arctic was completely free of ice sometime between 5,000 and 15,000 years ago. Apparently Brad Johnson believes that human history is less than 5,000 years.
There is nothing unusual happening the Arctic. Some years are a little higher or lower than others. These people are nuts.

They do this all the time, apparently without even realizing how self-defeating it is to their argument. So, first time since we’ve been here, or been here keeping track at least. Happened probably countless times in the past, but just to throw out a lowball number, let’s go with only 10 times in the past. So we got: 10 times w/o humans. 1 time w/ humans. Yeah, that’s absolute concrete ‘consensus-type’ evidence that we’ve caused it this time.
We’ve got some disapperaing Arctic ice in the 1940’s. That was 70 years ago. Does that not count as human history? Amazing how alarmists don’t know anything.
5000 years is before human history. Before around 3000BC and the first written language is generally considered pre-historic.
