If you want to see the effects of real global warming, you don’t have to look any further than our sister planet Mars. Once a warm, wet planet with oceans and rivers whose beds still crisscross the Martian landscape, it’s now cold and dead and the only water we’ve found thus far is frozen in its polar ice caps.
scientists agree that global warming killed Mars
Global warming made Venus hot enough to melt lead, and it also made Mars cold enough to have a CO2 ice cap.

If there is warming on Earth it is not global.

Certainly not. The Antarctic ice cap is growing steadily (on the average) for ~ 33 years, as far as those records go, and the growth rate has increased since 2008.
I believe they’ve finally found the Unified Theory of everything that bothered the minds of physicists for so many years! Congratulations climatologists, you don’t cease to amaze me! 🙂
CO2, the omnipotent gas!
We should proceed to prove CO2’s omniscience. Of course it’s a moral entity, and a universal judge and executioner, as it’s going to punish us sinners for our SUVs.
But again — did CO2 cause the Universe?
The universe is simply a figment of CO2’s imagination…
While scientists agree that global warming killed Mars
Really? That’s a new one. And what was the mechanism? Hotcold. That one we have heard. Hot causes cold. Now the shining example is Mars. If it hadn’t been hot there it wouldn’t be so cold there. Right. And next winter when we’re freezing our rears off, blame the heat. Yes, that makes sense to even a 7 year old, who would say that’s fully ridiculous. What complete rubbish masquerading as sentences made up by rational human beings.
Doesn’t the atmosphere of Mars contain mostly CO2? Then, why isn’t it warming? Why is Mars COOLER now even with all of that CO2? Lol, these AGW nutcases have no idea what they are talking about, or if they did, they are purposely being ignorant.
And in 7 days, CO2 created the heavens & the earth….
I wonder if the Martian skeptics heads were spinning as much as ours do now…
I was almost there, ut supra.
Ah, the watchmaker argument. If you see a watch, don’t you think someone did it? And if you see Mars, which is infinitely more complex, didn’t something do it? Well, that something was CO2.
(I hope this makes it to AR5)
Just don’t use your seeing of a watch as proof that your favorite watchmaker did it. People would laugh at you.
Loss of Mars’ magnetic field had a lot to do with their climate change.
Haven’t you heard? CO2 eats magnetic fields…
Off topic, but NOAA getting back into cloud-naming: http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/noaa-hurricane-season-predicti/69494?partner=MSN
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I knew from reading space books that Mars was a cold planet that went through climate change, but a “lush jungle”? Avatar, anyone? Where’s the evidence for a Jungle Mars? I’d like to know.
