Ironically, the bad economy might help Obama. People worried about losing their jobs, homes, health care, welfare will probably not buy into the supply side, trickle down message. They want the government to bail them out.
Carter used the same strategy of fear against Reagan, but in the weeks before the election people got sick of his disgusting behavior and turned against him. Same thing will happen to Obama.
Let’s hope so, but I’m still worried about a close election when it should be a cakewalk.
Friggin stupid Republicrats nominate a northeast liberal who backs state controlled health care, nullifying the killer issue on the table. They really deserve to lose and have this worthless party die, but the whole damn republic is at stake more than ever before. Communist vs Socialist on the ballot. So we’re stuck again pulling the lever for the lesser of two evils, which is the entire reason this damn party still exists.
Ryan helps a little but I would rather have Allen West because nothing would be sweeter than watching him kick Biden’s lying ass. If the plagiarist dodges or refuses to answer a debate question, west could easily waterboard the little rat.

Blade, you need to go back to the dictionary to look up the definitions communist and socialist again. Obama and Romney are neither.
Also, the polls putting Obama ahead aren’t a result of the olympics. They have been significantly ahead for at least three months now. The decision to choose Ryan will likely not help Romney at all, and could hurt him.

I troll here every day. I enjoy the site very much but seldom post. I am not a scientist and do not pretend to be (unlike the AGW crowd). I am an Independant who leans heavy to the conservative side. I don’t but into the two party system. I vote for the best candidate! Obama is ahead in the polls because most of the polls are like Hansen, Mann, and Mueller’s work……. Garbage in = Garbage out! If you notice Obama needs a +9 or +11 Dem sampling to poll favorably. Rassmussen is by far the best poll to follow in terms of accuracy!
