No Jason, the 1930s were much hotter.
Searing heat in the Heartland: Oklahoma’s hottest day ever?
By Jason Samenow
And the answer is no. Not even close.
August 12, 1936 averaged 112.2 at all of the USHCN stations in Oklahoma. Today averaged 109.5 at all of the Weather Underground stations in Oklahoma.
1936 was almost three degrees hotter. In 1936, there were eleven stations hotter than the hottest today.

This is the kind of answer that should be given to ALL warmistas. Pure data
But they’ll melt!
Reblogged this on Climate Ponderings.
I was half asleep when I heard on the TV this morning that July might wind up at 3rd hottest ever. I remember dreaming that this dude must be watching SGTV. I don’t know whether they were talking about Illinois, or USA, or what, but I do remember thinking that whoever he is, he was pre-empting NOAA. This was at something like 5:00am today, central time. I still remembered it when I woke up, but I don’t know which channel. I do remember thinking in my sleep that someone has been watching the real data and I was shocked to hear it from a weatherman.
