  1. Old Goat says:

Not hellish here in south west France – just beautifully hot and sunny. The pool’s most inviting, as are the chilled glasses of Bordeaux on the terrace. Still weeping, Billy Boy? Because I’m not…

    • Stephen Richards says:

Uncomfortable here in SW france but the temps are starting to fall from 40°C at the beginning of this week to (hopefully) 25°C (normal) at the end of this week. Humidity has been increasing as the temp decreases witness the amount of water collected by my climate heat pump.

Nowhere near as hot as 2003 or should I say consistently as hot as 2003.

Barcelona spain Hot ,35.2 ºC(outside our house)(30ºC inside) it looks like summer and when in summer the air comes from the south, like Africa, it gets hot. 3 days to go they tell us, but you get used to it.

Because of high energy price air conditioning only at night so we can sleep.

  3. Pops says:

It’s only 34ºc where I am in Spain. Three years ago on this same date we had 40ºc. The first sign of global cooling?

  4. Eric Webb says:

Mckibben will probably move back to the US towards the end of August, a shot of warmth is supposed to return, plus with a hurricane threat, it’s a safe bet he’ll come back to the US.

  5. John Silver says:

Here in northern Europe, one fucking day with 30+ C. In the whole year!
Now it’s down to 20 C again, and falling.

  6. John Silver says:

And where are the Moscow heat waves?

  7. rw says:

What are we going to do with all these people (like McKibben) when this is all over? Will we have to build sanitariums the way we’re now building prisons?
